In my work I'm interested in the notion of the limit. A limit separates one space from another. But it also serves as a meeting point of opposing forces. It's this boundary that bears the weight, the tension. It can stretch or break. The 'limen' and what exists below and above this threshold, the internal with the external, the soft with the rigid, the material with the intangible are open fields for exploration and questioning. I also see the clash of these forces, as a critical point which can give birth to different possibilities, one that can redefine and transcend the fixed boundaries. My working method involves photobased processes and sculpture.
